I
would like to have:
R-6 RESOLUTION
Approving the Multnomah-Washington Regional Investment Board 2001-2003 Regional
Investment Plan Update
Removed from the agenda for decision on
February 7, 2002.
Reasons include:
- We expect a change in overall funding
level from the State based on special session—delay should make that effect
clearer
- The Regional Investment Board should have
opportunity to consider changes in priorities and procedure based on revised
funding level
- Fiscal contract and Administrative costs
are a percentage of the funds made available to the region. Significant changes in overall funding
may require different procedures be adopted by the Board due to reduced funds
for Fiscal and Administrative costs
Washington County is also pulling the Plan from its agenda
this week. I plan to bring this
back to the Board in March when there is clarity of direction on the above
items.
Approval in March would allow enough time to submit the
Plan updates and be on the agenda of the Oregon Economic and Community
Development Department at their April meeting (along with Hood River/Clackamas
County RIB)
Thank you
Steve
