Description: This movie was probably made by the Sheriff’s Office. It is black and white, silent, and about 3 minutes long. It has been identified as preparing for Robert Kennedy’s visit. From visual evidence, this would appear to be from Kennedy’s 1968 presidential race visit. Kennedy does not make an appearance in the movie. The first half is crowd scenes, officer scenes, and exterior scenes of the Portland International Airport. The second half of the movie is interior shots of the Detectives and Investigation Unit offices. There is a short scene of the downtown Hilton and a panorama of Portland at night.
