Catalog Description

Scope and Content: This series documents communications between the Road Services Program and other county programs, the federal and state governments, and private businesses and individuals. Records includes letters, memos, reports, maps and plans, other attachments, and related records. Much of the correspondence deals with roads -- construction, maintenance, location. Other major subjects include bridges, county structures, public works projects, funding, and sewer and water lines. The series is arranged in three sub-series. This was done to maintain the original order of the records, which differs significantly from one chronologicla period to the other. The final series in the chronology includes an existing subject file to which a few records found loose in the accession were added.
